A tiny lady in our house is finally cutting her first tooth, which has resulted in a lot of torment for everyone involved. Yesterday she spent a lot of the day drooling, chewing on anything she could get her hands on, and begging for extra cuddles from mama at every turn.

Luckily, she doesn’t have to ask me twice for an extra snuggle, but the whole “interrupted sleep” thing (when we juuuuust managed to drop that first night feeding!) is kind of brutal. I can feel that little tooth coming through her gums though, so I don’t doubt that it’s causing some discomfort (and as her mama and current food source, let me tell you, that thing is sharp!)

For the time being we’re all going to get through this with some extra cold teethers, some patience, a little less sleep, and maybe a few more glasses of wine for mama after this little one goes to bed… 😉
